We take data protection seriously.
The protection of your privacy when we process your personal data is an important concern for us. Automatically stored non-personal data

We use Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereafter referred to as “Google”. We use Google Analytics on our website with the addition “_gat._anonymizeIp”. In this case, your IP address is shortened by Google within Member States of the European Union or in other contracting states of the European Economic Area Agreement and therefore made anonymous.

Google may also transfer this information to third parties if this is required by law or if third parties process this data on Google’s behalf.
According to its own information, Google will under no circumstances associate your IP address with other Google data. If you have agreed that your web and app browser history may be linked by Google to your Google Account and that information from your Google Account may be used to personalize advertisements, Google will use your information together with Google Analytics data to create target group lists for cross-device remarketing. For this purpose, Google Analytics first collects your Google authenticated ID on our website, which is linked to your Google Account (i.e. personal data). Google Analytics will then temporarily link your ID with your Google Analytics data in order to optimize our target groups.
If you do not agree to this, you can turn it off by means of corresponding settings in the “My Account” section of your Google Account.
By using our website, you declare your agreement to the processing of the data collected about you by Google and the method of data processing described above, as well as the stated purpose. This website uses the remarketing function of Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; “Google“). This function is used to present interest-based advertisements to website visitors within the Google advertising network. This technology enables us to automatically generate target group-oriented advertising after your visit to our website. The advertisements are based on the products and services which you clicked on during your last visit to our website. For this purpose, a so-called “cookie” is stored in the browser of the web page visitor, which makes it possible to recognise the visitor again if he or she accesses websites that belong to the advertising network of Google. Cookies are small text files that are stored in your browser when you visit our website. Google normally stores information such as your web request, IP address, browser type, browser language, date and time of your request. If you have agreed at https://www.google.com/settings/u/0/ads/authenticated that Google may link your browser history to your Google Account and use information from your Google Account for the personalization of advertisements, the remarketing function also work across various devices. Here, Google collects your Google ID and uses it for the purposes of cross-device identification. According to its own statements, Google does not collect any personal data whatsoever during this process.

Facebook Custom Audiences Pixels
We use “Custom Audiences Pixel” from Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”) to present interest-based advertisements to visitors to our website during their visit to Facebook. For this purpose, we have implemented a pixel of Facebook on our website, which establishes a direct connection to the Facebook servers when you visit our website. Information is sent to the Facebook server that you have visited our website and Facebook is assigning this information to your personal Facebook user account. Subsequent we want to explain our newsletter contents, the signup, delivery and statistical analysis processes as well as your rights of withdrawal. With subscribing to our newsletter you agree to these terms.
We only send out Newsletter, e-mails and further electronical messages with commercial purpose (hereby “newsletter”) only with your explicit opt-in or based on a legal allowance. As long as the contents are described appropriately during subscription-process, those are basis for your agreement.

Our newsletter is distributed via “Mailchimp”, a mailing-platform from the US-based provider Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE #5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA.
Both the email addresses of our subscribers as well as the gathered data (as explained here) are kept on Mailchimp servers in the USA. Mailchimp uses those data for sending out and analysing the newsletter on behalf of AYANI.
Furthermore, Mailchimp can use this data in order to improve their own service, e.g. optimizing the technical distribution, displaying the email appropriately or for commercial reasons do distinguish the country where the receiver is localized. Mailchimp is not providing the data to any third party.
We trust in the reliability of Mailchimp’s IT and data security. Mailchimp is certified under the US-EU-data protection agreement „Privacy Shield“ and hereby commits to comply with European data protection law. Furthermore, we have signed a „Data Processing Agreement“. In this agreement Mailchimp commits to protect our customers’ data, process our data based on EU data protection law and particularly does not pass on the data to any third party. To subscribe to our newsletter it is sufficient to provide your email-address.
The newsletter contains so-called “web-beacons”. That is a pixel-sized file, which is called by the Mailchimp server when opening the newsletter. With this call, technical information as to the used browser, your system, IP-address and point of time are stored. This data is used to improve the technical services and distribution quality. Also information is stored on if and when the newsletter was opened by the user and as well as which links have been clicked.
This information can indeed be related to a specific user, but we explicitly insist on not tracking a single user both AYANI nor Mailchimp. These information only help us to identify general user behaviour due to the usage of our newsletter and to improve the contents towards better user experience for our subscribers.
You can withdraw your subscription at any time. This includes the withdrawal of receiving our newsletters from Mailchimp and being part of statistical analysis. Every newsletter email contains an unsubscription link. Further third party providers, that are necessary for carrying out the contracts are: shipping provider. In any case we strictly adhere to legal requirements. Persisted data limits to the necessary minimum. Personal data will not be disclosed to third parties for any other purpose.
